LAUNCH OF THE KWAZULU-NATAL TAXI COUNCILKwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Mr S’bu Ndebele will deliver the keynote address at the official launch of the KwaZulu-Natal Taxi Council to be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Walnut Street, Durban on Tuesday, 5th February 2002 commencing at 10H00. The KwaZulu-Natal Taxi Council (trading as Amathubesizwe Taxi Council) is taking a giant leap into the future, a process that will ensure an economically viable and stable taxi industry in this province. Part of the broader vision of the industry is to drive the regulation process forward – a move that will benefit the industry and its partners in the long and short term. Thousands of people including business, government, commuters and the public at large are expected to attend this event to join hands in celebrating this dawn of a new age for the taxi industry in KwaZulu-Natal.
