Sunday, 6 October 2002 at 09h00: Road Safety Awareness Campaign and Heritage Day Celebrations  to be held at KwaNyuswa (Ward 2) Sports Field, Mkizwane, Outer West, Durban.

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Mr S’bu Ndebele will deliver the keynote address. The focus of this event will be road safety due to the high number of road crashes in this area, mainly involving children. Amakhosi, councillors, representatives from the taxi industry and many other stakeholders have been invited to attend.

Tuesday, 8 October 2002 at 10h00: Celebration by the Buhleamakhosi RRTF and CRSC for being awarded first prize for best RRTF/CRSC in the province at the Springbok Community Hall, Springboklaagte near Newcastle.

This is a great achievement for the Buhleamakhosi Rural Road Transport Forum / Community Road Safety Council and hundreds of people representing various sectors of society are expected join in this celebration.
