SUGAR RAY XULU AND BHIZA DLAMINI TO SELECT KZN TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT SOCCER SQUAD

The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport will host an inter-departmental soccer tournament to be held at the Harry Gwala Stadium, Pietermaritzburg on Friday and Saturday, 9th and 10th August 2002 commencing at 09h00.

Six matches will be played on Friday between staff members from Head Office and the various regions in the province. The semi-finals and finals will then be played on Saturday and will culminate in a prize-giving ceremony.

Sugar Ray Xulu (ex-AmaZulu player) and Bhiza Dlamini (ex-Kaizer Chiefs player) will also be present to assist in the selection of a provincial Department of Transport soccer squad. This provincial squad will then put their skills and team spirit to the test when they play against MTN first division on Saturday.

The provincial squad is then expected to play against Limpopo province on Saturday, 29th August 2002 at Woodburn Rugby Stadium, Pietermaritzburg.
