KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Mr S’bu Ndebele, will deliver the
keynote address at the handing over ceremony of computers to forty
previously disadvantaged schools at the Tatazela Secondary School near
Estcourt on Friday, 10 May 2002 commencing at 10h00.
This initiative is
part of a social responsibility programme called "TRANSPORTING
TECHNOLOGY TO SCHOOLS". This project is aimed at improving the
administrative and technological part of all previously disadvantaged
schools around South Africa. As the Department of Transport we feel this
is an important community based project that directly impacts on the lives
of every school pupil.

N.B. Transport will be provided to journalists and will leave the
Truro House reception area in Durban at 07h30 sharp tomorrow
