KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Mr S’bu Ndebele, will deliver the keynote address at the official opening of Main Road 68 extending from Umtentweni to Highflats at the Sukuma Hall, Highflats on Tuesday, 21st May 2002 commencing at 10h00. This project forms part of the African Renaissance Roads Upgrading Programme and extends from Highflats to Umtentweni via Dweshula and St. Faiths. The total distance is approximately 51 km at a cost of R93 million. All media are invited to attend. Please note picture opportunities. N.B. Transport will be provided to journalists and will leave the Truro House reception area in Durban at 08h00 sharp on Tuesday morning, 21st May 2002. All journalists are please requested to confirm attendance in order to make the necessary logistical arrangements.
