 
MEDIA INVITE: INTRODUCTION OF KZN TRANSPORT DEPARTMENTS NEW HEAD: PUBLIC SAFETY AND COMMUNICATIONMr Thabang Chiloane was appointed Head: Public Safety and Communication at the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport with effect from 1 February 2002. Mr Chiloane is an award-winning journalist and was previously employed as Director: News Service at the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) in Pretoria. Mr Chiloane completed his Bachelor of Communication Degree at Charles Stuart University in Australia in 1997 and has over eight years of journalistic experience in and out of the country.
