Please be informed of the following events being hosted by the KZN Transport Department taking place tomorrow, Tuesday, 6 May 2003.

• Tuesday, 6 May 2003 at 11h00: Memorial Service at Malangeni Sports Grounds near Umzinto to honour the 13 victims who were killed last Wednesday in a taxi crash near Umzinto. KZN MEC for Transport, Mr S’bu Ndebele, KZN MEC for Education, Mr Narend Singh, other members of Parliament and a host of other dignitaries will be present.

• Tuesday, 6 May 2003 at 10h00: Official Opening of the Driving Licence Test Yard at Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI), Marianhill, Pinetown. More than R1 million has already been spent on the upgrading of this facility in the last nine months, and more money will be spent in the coming months in order to minimise fraud and corruption in the issuing of learners and driving licences.
