"CELE SAYS NO TO CHILD ABUSE "

The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr Bheki Cele will Launch a Public Awareness Campaign Against Child Abuse, tomorrow(08/03/2005) at Ibhobhoyi Sports Ground- Harding, 09h30.

The launch aims at raising public awareness about child abuse, empowering child abuse victims and the public with precautionary measures.

It also aims at motivating victims of child abuse to make use of the existing structures that deal with child abuse. These structures include SAPS, Department of Education, Social Welfare, CPU, ChildLine, NGO and other social partners which are involved as well in this campaign.
