MEC BHEKI CELE TO MEET VRYHEID COMMUNITY LEADERS

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr. Bheki Cele, will meet Amakhosi and community leaders tomorrow, 10th June, in Vryheid Farmers Hall at 10h00. This follows MEC Cele's promise he made last week in Vryheid Safety Imbizo on Saturday that he will go and consult with relevent stakeholders before responding to their concerns.

Members of the community were complaining about high rate of stock theft, abuse of farm- workers by farmers and crime in general. Community also complained about SAPS abusive behavior in Vryheid, Pongola and surroundings. MEC Cele is expected to respond to complains that were raised by community.Community leaders and Amakhosi will then go back and report to their respective communities.
