MEMORIAL SERVICE OF SEVEN PEOPLE WHO DIED IN AN ACCIDENT INVOLVING A TAXI AND A TRUCK

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr Bheki Cele and Transport CEO Dr Kwazi Mbanjwa will attend the memorial service of seven people who were killed last Thursday in a horror accident in Loskop on the R74 outside Estcourt.

Six people including a seven month infant and a one year old baby were killed instantly. One died later in the hospital whilst eleven others sustained injuries. Seven dockets of culpable homicide are being investigated.

The Memorial service will commence at 10am in Loskop iNjesuthi Stadium Mangweni Area (17 March, 2005)
