MEC BHEKI CELE CONVEYS HIS CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF KWAMBONAMBI MAYOR

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr. Bheki Cele wishes to convey his condolences to the family of Kwa Mbonambi mayor who was shot and killed this morning at Ntambanana near KwaMbonambi. The mayor’s wife has been reported missing and police are investigating the matter. Three weeks ago the mayor’s son was killed in the same area. Preliminary reports have revealed that family feud could be the possible cause of the killing. "At this stage there are no indications linking the killing to political reasons however police investigation is still underway," Cele said.
