TOP TRANSPORT OFFICIAL SHOT AND KILLED

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr. Bheki Cele strongly condemns the killing of top transport official, Mr. Dumisani Ximba who was the Regional Director for Empangeni Region in the Department of Transport. Cele has expressed shock and anger to the murder of the late Mr. Ximba and sends his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that Ximba was killed in an execution style. No arrests have been made so far however police investigation is still underway. “Ximba’s untimely death comes as a shock to the department at large, he was indeed a humble person with a great potential. In his six years service in the department his contribution to service delivery has been outstanding” Cele said.
