Outcomes

A

  1. to formulate an integrated and holistic policy about HIV/AIDS.
  1. to gain knowledge about Human and Legal Rights of other stakeholders provincially and nationally regarding HIV/AIDS in order to formulate a comprehensive and concrete database that will facilitate the process of aligning our strategy accordingly.
  1. identify legal experts that have advanced knowledge pertaining to the violation of human rights.
  1. to establish and conduct programes that will deal with Human and Legal Rights on the following issues: violation, discrimination, denial and deprivation of opportunities. stigmatization, exclusion etc, regarding having HIV/AIDS positive status.

B

  1. to integrate policies from different stakeholders in order to prepare a uniform human and legal rights HIV/AIDS policy that will fit in with international standards.
  1. to have a Legal Specialist Task Team that will facilitate the process of auditing and verifying the policy against Legal Frameworks.

C

  1. to have a drawn-up wide sector policy that will strengthen the National HIV/AIDS Plan.
  1. to have appropriate implementation and monitoring strategies.
