Time To Test The Children (10)

Remember to test by way of exercise.
Location
Use the school premises or a quiet road near the school to do the
test.
Method
- You and the child must stand side by side when starting the test.
- Explain that he/she must cross the road from one kerb or verge of
the road to the other; walk along the opposite pavement; and return
to the original position by crossing between parked cars.
- When the child indicates that he/she understands the instruction,
call for a demonstration.
