She specialises in the expropriation of the land, her duties being to prepare notice plans, to do investigations related to expropriations in other firms, and the checking of consultants’ work.

Banothile credits her parents for being where she is today as well as her Grandmother who taught her to believe in herself, be satisfied with what she have in life, above all to love respect the work and other the people.

Her future plans include attaining Professional Technologist status once she completes her B.Tech studies, and hopes to control and manage her own section in the future. She would also like to become involved in structural design work, and be involved in as many development projects in the Province as she possibly can.

Her message to the other women out there is to:

Love yourself, believe in yourself, have a positive attitude in what you are, fulfil your dreams, be a good thinker before you act, try to give the best both at home and in working industries AND above all do not let other people cause you to underestimate yourself.
